Objectives
To Imbibe good human values among students through literature teaching.
To develop sound communication skills.
To encourage students to take up projects and generate research spirit.
To prepare students to qualify for corporate jobs.
Employment Oppurtunities
The Department imparts soft skill training to the students in attending interviews, participating in group discussion, writing resume, etc.. Consequently, umpteen number of students take up part time jobs during their study period after their college schedule.

Listening skills.
The Department conducts intercollegiate literary competitions like essay writing, lecture/ debate, dumb charades, Collage, etc..
Future Plan
To introduce Optional English course at graduation level.
To start PG course (i.e. MA in English).
To start 3\6 months part time Diploma in corporate communication.
